Overview

Checkpoints are vertical flag-like objects the player walks through. When the player contacts a checkpoint it becomes their new active respawn point. On death, the player reappears at the active checkpoint instead of the map's spawn point.

Visual states

Inactive#808080 (gray)The checkpoint has not been touched by the player.
Touched#2196F3 (blue)The player passed this checkpoint but it is no longer the active one.
Active#4CAF50 (green)This is the current respawn point. Stays green until the player reaches a later checkpoint.
All three state colors can be customized globally in Map Config → Checkpoint Colors.
